Start with the audience, not the catalog
Your best first product is usually connected to what the audience already associates with you: a habit, profession, joke, aesthetic, activity or shared identity. The product should feel like a natural extension of the relationship rather than an unrelated logo placement.
- Write down what your audience repeatedly asks, quotes or identifies with.
- Choose a product they already buy in that context.
- Make the product useful even to someone who does not know every piece of your content.
